Happy 1st Birthday
Here are the Character Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks:
These are great treats to add to any candy station or dessert bar!
Lin and Peter made the cutest twins ever! This party was amazing! If you haven't noticed, Lin's attention to detail gives photographers great photo ops. But these pictures don't do this party any justice! I'm glad I was on the invite list!!
updates to come!

craw dads pt.2
that's right, crawfish cake balls! by no means are these crawfish flavored cake balls... ew.. or would it be ew? hmm crawfish corn bread balls?? maybe worth trying..anyone wanna order those? i'd be happy to experiment! the corn and potatoes were not as challenging as expected. our customer's idea of having corn and potatoes in the batch was a nice detailed touch to the order. we sifted cocoa powder with powdered sugar on the top of the potatoes to give a rustic look to them which gave them a more realistic feel. the corn was imprinted to decadent's perfection. The details on the crawfish included its claws, tail and beady eyes which were made of fondant and sprinkles. Limbs were made a day earlier to save some time. here's a picture provided by our second time customer, Miss Thao :) thanks for the cute idea and support! they were a hit at your party as were your previous party.

m.v.t.
those are the initials of the lil man we will welcome to the world soon!
I was really excited to make these..
always wanted to put facial expressions on a cake ball,
especially baby expressions!
this was the perfect opportunity to do so :)
up close and personal: the rattle, booties and facial expressions are all made from fondant. 2 flavors: red velvet and lemon cake
the skin color was easier to mix than i thought it would have been.. a little milk chocolate and vanilla chocolate with a little yellow food color did the trick.
Here's the gang all together. I love how one of them look like they have a double chin! and how the paper cup holders look like baby bonnets!
